Installing PHP (ISAPI) in Windows 2000 Professional (#11B)

11B) Set the ISAPI Filter (continued)

In the "Filter Properties" window (L), type "PHP" in the "Filter Name:" box (M), and click on the "Browse" button (N).

In the "Open" window (O), drop-down and browse to the PHP folder in the C: drive (P), drop-down the "Files of type"" box and select "ISAPI Filters (*.dll)" (Q), and select "php4isapi.dll" as the "File name"" (R), and finally click on the "Open" button (S).

Now back to the "Filter Properties" window (L), click on the "OK" button (T)

which will bring back the "Default Web Site Properties" window
( I ), with the 'ISAPI Filter" tab (J) showing.  First click on the "Apply" button (U) [shown in this screen shot grayed after it was clicked].  If another window appears immediately after clicking on the "Apply" button (U), you can simply click the "OK" button in that window to close it.  Finally click on the "OK" button (V) to close the "Default Web Site Properties" window ( I ).

Having gone this far, you have two windows still open -- the  "Computer Management" window (E), and the "Administrative Tools" window (C).  You can simply close them by clicking on the "X" button (W) on the upper-right corner of those windows.
